FAQs

Is it safe to be adjusted during pregnancy?

Yes! Adjustments are very individualized and change to accommodate a woman’s pregnant body and the baby growing in her belly. Dr. Skylar has been specially trained and certified to safely work with pregnant women.

Does it hurt to be adjusted?

For patients coming in for treatment experiencing pain, adjustments may be uncomfortable in the beginning but nothing should be more painful than your complaint. As you progress with treatment and your body begins to heal, adjustments should be very comfortable and even feel good!

If i get adjusted once will i have to come forever?

Dr. Skylar will create a care plan based on your specific health needs, so this will look different for everyone. While no one will be forced in to care forever, chiropractic care supports a healthy lifestyle, so of course we’ll recommend you keep it up :)

Can kids get adjusted?

Absolutely, in fact it’s very beneficial for them. Dr. Skylar has adjusted children of all ages, even day old newborns. Adjustments for kids and babies looks very different from adjustments for adults. There’s no twisting and popping on little ones. It is very gentle and calm.

do you take insurance?

We do not. Because insurance companies can dictate care and often increase the cost of treatments, we have found that we are better able to serve our patients as a cash practice. We are able to provide patients with super bills, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How much does a visit cost?

New patient appointments are $150 and follow up visits are $60. We do offer family pricing for parents and children being seen at the same visit: parent will be the standard price and each child seen will be $10 off.
